The Rehabilitation Center at Sandalwood is a skilled nursing community and rehabilitation center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Sandalwood is proud of its new 15,000 square foot state of the art rehabilitation unit and that it has provided for the local community’s skilled nursing and long-term care needs since 1958. Sandalwood’s mission is to provide an atmosphere that promotes comfort in care, safe healing and a dedication to maintaining the individuality and pride of residents.
The Rehabilitation Center at Sandalwood understands that making a long-term care decision is not easy. That is why this long-term care community gives residents the most comfortable environment possible while providing them with the medical and emotional support needed. When guests visit Sandalwood, they see that every resident is part of a community. Sandalwood is their home and other residents are their friends and neighbors. Residents’ rooms reflect their own personalities and tastes through decorations, pictures and even pets. Sandalwood encourages residents, family members and friends to bring their pets to visit.
The Rehabilitation Center at Sandalwood offers guests high quality rehabilitative care in a modern, upscale atmosphere. The short-term rehabilitation center consists of more than 15,000 square feet, accommodating up to 30 guests in fourteen private and eight semi-private rooms. Sandalwood uses a comprehensive and multidisciplinary team that works diligently to help short-term rehabilitation guests reach their rehabilitation goals. In a state-of-the-art Therapy Studio, guests receive individualized therapy with in-house Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists. Guests also have access to a full-sized therapeutic kitchen and bathroom, providing the practical skills needed to be able to successfully transition back home.
