Current Colavria Hospitality Vaccination Rates

COVID-19 has caused a lot of concern, especially for those in skilled nursing and long-term care communities and many have asked how Colavria is handling the COVID-19 crisis, and what our status is regarding the vaccination.

As more vaccines are produced and distributed, we at Colavria have made it our mission to ensure the safety of our employees as well as our clients by having our team vaccinated as quickly and safely as possible. Here is the history and status of our vaccination rates.

Our Goal Regarding The COVID-19 Vaccine

On February 25, 2021, the American Health Care Association (AHCA) set a goal for long-term care communities to have 75% of staff vaccinated by June 30th. On the goal date, June 30, 2021, the average statewide percentage of long-term staff who had been vaccinated was 67%.

Colavria communities have sought to go above and beyond, providing the highest caliber of safety to our team as well as our clients. In striving for safety, we have not only exceeded the statewide average but actually exceeded the AHCA goal of 75% by more than 10%.

With staff vaccination rates this high, we hope that the concerns of our staff and residents will be alleviated, both in working at Colavria communities and by receiving care with us. These results provide us a great opportunity for recruitment and in building census.

Our Current Status

Due to our diligence in providing the vaccine to our employees, we have exceeded state averages and worked to create a safe environment for those who are a part of the Colavria community. Currently, our full-time staff vaccination rate across all locations is 87% and West Lake currently has 95% of its full-time employees vaccinated.

Our Future Goals

While we are grateful for the progress we have made in making Colavria a safe environment for staff and clients alike, we understand that there is still more work to be done. We believe that every member of the Colavria community has the right to feel safe and that their personal health is not in danger. Therefore, we plan to continue with our course of action and continue having employees vaccinated to ensure maximum protection against the virus.
