Pam Rios-Menter

Pam Rios-Menter, L.C.S.W., N.H.A.

Administrator at Westlake Care Community

Pam brings over 21 years of experience as a clinical social worker and clinical leader in long-term care, psychiatric and hospice settings in addition to 16 years of professional management experience with a nationally recognized telecommunications company. Pam has worked as an administrator for eight years and has been at WestLake for 5.5 years. Previously she was employed as Vice President of psychosocial Services in which she supervised consulting operations for over 26 homes within the Colorado and surrounding states. She also worked as a nursing home consultant for 9 years and worked as project manager on several nursing home turnaround projects. Pam also has extensive experience in the mental health and hospice settings as an LCSW.

Pam is currently an agency liaison for the MSW program at Metro State College in Denver and an active speaker/trainer for the Colorado Health Care Association Social Service certification program. She previously served as a state committee member for the Colorado Pay-for-Performance program, co-authored the state behavioral nursing reimbursement program criteria for Colorado House Bill 1114 and also served on the Colorado state committee as the nursing home representative for The Money Follows The Person program under The Affordable Care Act. Additionally, under Pam’s leadership WestLake has also been awarded both the Bronze and Silver Quality awards from the American Health Care Association.

Pam obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Social Work from the Worden School of Social Service at Our Lady of The Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. Pam is licensed as a clinical master’s level Social Worker and holds a Certificate in Professional Mediation from the University of Denver. She is a past member of Toastmasters She is also an Eden Alternative associate. She also previously served on the Janssen Pharmaceutical Case Managers advisory board, Alzheimer’s Association Texas Hill Country chapter and was a continuing education speaker in the state of Texas regarding Alzheimer’s and mental illness issues.
